I understand how you feel - here’s what works for me, that supports healthy living and also costs less - if you stay in a hotel room that has a fridge and a microwave, and if there’s a grocery store nearby, you can just get some things at the grocery store like you would if you were at home, (some frozen Healthy Choice meals for example). good luck!

I would say the best thing to do is go camping or find a small lake area and a hotel there. Plan to start your day with a hike or walk. If you like fishing, bring some poles and spend a few hours fishing. Pack healthy snacks like granola bars, pretzels, and apples - so when you are hungry you will reach for something good for you instead of running by a convenience store and being at the mercy of their selection.
Find out ahead of time if there are bike trails or walking trails, and if there are several try them all. If you just stay outdoors and active you will have a great time and save money, and feel like you worked out!
I hope this helps!
