Almost everyone has some ginger on hand, whether it is in the form of a cooking spice or in the form of herbal tea. Adding some ginger to your food is a good idea when you start to feel sick is a great way to help fight off the germs. It’s easier for you to heal when you’ve had some ginger. Drinking ginger tea regularly can help your immune system become strong enough to fight off any colds or flues that might try to take hold.
Don’t eat sugar. Eating sugar is bad for your immune system and it makes you more susceptible for illnesses. If you want to feel healthier, eating less sugar is the way to go-just ask someone who used to eat sugar but has stopped doing so. Instead of choosing a sugary drink (which might taste better), choose water because water helps you flush out toxins and sugary drinks helps them get in. Taking in a lot of sugar can counteract the good that the rest of your natural health remedies might be doing.
There is no rule that says you have to go the drug route when you get a cold or the flu. Why not choose from the natural health cures that you have filling your kitchen already? Why waste a bunch of time and money that can be better spent elsewhere? Natural health cures are better for you!
