Can you buy acai berry products in your local health food store?
Sammy G asked:
I want to do the acai berry diet and I don’t know If I could buy it at my local health food store or if I should get one of those free trials online? Thanks for your time!

Forget it. It’s a rip off. It’s just another weight loss scam to make somebody rich.

Not really sure what I would recommend to you specifically. There are so many products out there so what I end up doing is starting cheap and trying out several trials and seeing the results. The site is pretty good at visit and see if it interests you, I did.

Acai berries are a newly discovered berry that has some amazing characteristics. The acai berry is high in anti-oxidants and really helps people loose weight quickly. There are lots of health advantages to acai berries, but they must be frozen right after harvest to make sure they retain thier maximum potency. One of the most populat brands of acai suppliments is acai berry power 500. Many talk show hosts have done profiles on the health benefits of acai.

You can buy acai products at your health food store, if its a good health food store!
I’ve seen the juice in stores for $50 for a tiny bottle.
I decided to go for the online path and I’m glad I did. I use Acai Berry Ultimate which you can try for free here:
I could not be happier with the results. You can read about my story below.

Many companies offer free trials of Acai so you can ‘try before you buy’. That’s probably your best bet. This site
lists free trial offers.

I too chose to get my acai offline and I am glad I did it gave me the chance to try it for free. But yes GNC should have acai juice it is 40-50$ a bottle though. If you want to try the Vital Acai which is what I ordered for only $1 shipping the link is below.

Acai berry products are available in most health food or vitamin stores. I have no financial ties to Sambazon, but they are one of the most well-known and reputable companies selling acai. Unlike other companies, I think it is safe to order from their website.
The acai berry craze is filled with SCAMS, especially on the internet. I would be very cautious about ordering free trials of acai. Do a search for Acai Berry Scams on google. Also, many of the people on YA are distributors for various acai companies, and I would discourage you from buying from these companies.
Regarding scams, I am speaking from personal experience. I ordered a free trial of Acai Berry Power 500. On my next credit card, I noticed an extra charge of $29.95 from that acai company. I called them and they said I had agreed to a personal nutrition consultation for $29.95. To make a long story short, I had to threaten them with a lawsuit before they refunded that extra charge. Then they started to send me shipments of acai I had never ordered.
I also ordered Acai Berry Supreme. A few weeks later, I got another bottle in the mail, even though I never asked for it. I left the shipping box unopened and wrote on it: Return to Sender. Do Not Charge My Credit Card for This Product. Then I put the item back in a mailbox. I am worried about what my next credit card will say. I’ve heard of people being charged $89 for the next shipment.
